Allen Mullins is the owner of Light Foot Ecological. He has over 30 years of experience as a nurseryman and land manager. Working in his field, he has used his knowledge both in the Midwest and the Southwest with an emphasis on plant ecology, soils, and seeding. He has a firm understanding of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices in the field and as an application for large scale nursery use.  His field experience includes the development and initiation of erosion control plans on contract work for residential clients, private companies, and government agencies to meet land restoration and storm water protection standards.  Mr. Mullins has had the opportunity to work with rainwater applications and rainwater harvesting through field experience.  This has led to a diverse way of broadening his landscape approach to design and basic field installation from the garden to the arroyo.  Mr. Mullins has a broad knowledge of installation and maintenance of trees, shrubs, and herbaceous vegetation.
